Rebecca Epstein, PhD, oversees communications for the UCLA Chicano Studies Research Center and manages the historic UCLA Chicano Studies Research Center Press (est. 1970). She joined the CSRC in 2011 following a career in arts journalism and public relations. She is the editor of award-winning exhibition catalogues “Laura Aguilar: Show and Tell” (2017) and “Christina Fernandez: Multiple Exposures” (2022), and served as developmental editor for “The Pocho Research Society Field Guide to L.A.” by Sandra de la Loza (2011), all from CSRC Press. She earned her BA in American Culture at the University of Michigan and her doctorate from the Department of Film, Television, and Digital Media at UCLA.
