Yesenia Román is the Latina Futures Lab Digital Projects Librarian at the Chicano Studies Research Center, where she collaborates with archivists in curating digital collections for access and preservation. She has a M.L.I.S. with a specialization in data curation from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a BA in Caribbean and Mesoamerican Anthropology from the University of Puerto Rico. Originally from Puerto Rico, she is happy to call Los Angeles her second home.
