Hispanics in Philanthropy (HIP)

Latina Futures has partnered with Hispanics in Philanthropy (HIP) to develop a series of community engagement convenings to provide insights on policy challenges and opportunities for social innovation work targeting Latinas, which are one of the fastest growing demographics groups. Working with community organizations on the ground, our partnership with HIP will expand visibility for Latina leaders, supporting HIP’s work to empower Latina leadership and accelerate the inclusion of Latinas and other women of color in positions of power and influence. These community conversations will bring together scholars, funders, and other key stakeholders to help advance actions to address gender inequity both within the social innovation sector and our sectors of focus, while identifying solutions that can be scaled up.

Tapping into HIP’s existing gender equity program, Latina Futures will partner to support the capacity building and advance research focused through a gender lens as well as continue to advocate for greater investment in this work from the philanthropy sector. Latina Futures will support HIP’s power building and justice program to leverage resources for Latinx and BIPOC-led frontline organizations and build strong Latinx leadership pipelines.
