Hispanas Organized for Political Equality (HOPE)
Working with Hispanas Organized for Political Equality (HOPE), Latina Futures is launching a partnership to support and promote the next generation of Latina leaderships and advocates in California. Our partnership aims to train over 300 Latinas in three years, preparing them to fill key leadership roles in their local communities and growing the HOPE Leadership Institute (HLI) model across key regions of the state. Our partnership will create HLI Regional Hubs in the Bay Area, Central Valley, Imperial Valley, Inland Empire, Los Angeles County, and San Diego County. This comprehensive training program will equip participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to lead initiatives that drive positive change in their communities and engage in advocacy with their local governments.

Latina Futures will support the development of HLI curriculum to ensure participants have access to research on policy issues impacting Latinas and high impact policy recommendations. Latina Futures will also evaluate the impact of the training program to advance Latina leadership, educational attainment, civic engagement and healthy development.
For 33 years, HOPE has been committed to ensuring political and economic parity for Latinas through leadership, advocacy, and education to benefit all communities and the status of women. Over the last 25 years, the organization’s leadership development training programs have shown significant results for the demographic the programs serve and California communities at large. Through these programs, the organization has created a multi-generational leadership pipeline to advance Latinas to thrive as leaders in education, healthcare, and economic development.
